Kindermusik Time!

Finally, hear are some pictures of some of the fun things we get to do and explore at our Kindermusik class. Sitting behind me is my new friend Noah.Yes, my boyfriend Joshua joins me in my Kindermusik class. Joshers enjoys playing with all of the cool instruments that Miss Pat lays out for us to explore.
Bubbles!!! These were extra special bubbles, they smelled like grapes!

This was so much fun! Our Mommy's plopped us on towels and pulled us around the room.

A Special X-mas Gift!

My Very First Doll House

This was a very special Christmas gift that my Daddy picked out just for me! Mommy said he was very excited to give me my very first doll house.

It is so neat! This is the table and here are the chairs.
James enjoyed playing with my doll house too!

A "Froot Loop" Rainbow

This week we are discovering one of nature's beauty, the rainbow.

It takes a steady hand!
I worked very hard to place the correct colored Froot Loop on this picture of a rainbow.

After I ate a rainbow for lunch, this was a tasty snack/masterpiece that I finished later that day!

I really enjoyed smelling this fruity rainbow!

Now, can I eat it Mommy?!?

Today's muffin tin lunch was so much fun to eat! Thanks to Heather for her suggested theme, we had a blast discovering all of the colors that make up a rainbow and then we ate them!

Red- dried cranberries (big hit!)

Orange- mandarin oranges and chicken nuggets

Yellow- corn

This is one of my absolute favorite books. I love the cleverness of the "magic ribbons" that move from page to page creating a beautiful rainbow at the end. The text is simple and sweet. If you do not own a copy, I highly recommend getting one!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!!

Today is Dr. Seuss's 105th Birthday!

Wow that is pretty old, huh?

To celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday we honored it by making our very own Cat in the Hat hats.

First, I painted a couple pieces of white paper red using some pretty nifty painting gadgets. (Really Mommy, did you have to take my picture wearing this ridiculous teal shirt?)

After the paint had dried, mommy cut them into strips. Then, I carefully made a line of glue on Mommy's guidelines that she drew on a piece of white paper.Next, I placed the red strips of paper. (I made two of these, one for me and one for my baby sister.) Then, Mommy added a black strip of paper at the bottom and stapled a long piece that wrapped around our head, and...

This is one of our favorite Dr. Seuss books. We read it every time we take our baths. We have one hardcover version of this fun book and one especially made for the bathtub!

Ryan's Mommy made a delicious cake that went with the "Under the Sea" theme. From the cake to the decorations and beach balls to the fun craft activities, we had a nice taste a warm summer day at the beach.
