Christopher and Ginny's BBQ

Tonight we all got together to finally give Christopher and Ginny their wedding present, the grill. They both seemed to be thrilled to receive the BBQ grill, in fact they had food ready to grill for our dinner! Yumm!

Amelia was trying really hard to blow her own bubbles. After very many failed attempts, she finally made a few little bubbles all by herself!

We also had fun throwing a few balls around. Thanks guys for a great dinner and a good time. Next, time we come visit Christopher said he will have his cows back and bring his tractors over from his dad's house, so we can go check them all out!
PS Your house is lookin' great!

Barefoot Bay

Having a Blast
at
Barefoot Bay!!!
Today, Nana took us to Barefoot Bay. Since we had such a great time splashing in the kiddie pool and the zero depth pool as well as enjoyed the lazy river, Nana said we are going to make it a yearly visit! Today, was such a fun time. James went into the deeper water that when standing the water went right up to his chin! Amelia loved playing in the kiddie pool as well as splashing in the little water geysers.

"OK, Mommy put the camera down and lets go have some fun!"
Thanks Nana for a great time at Barefoot Bay!

Swim Day!

Finally, pictures of our Tuesday Swim Days at Grandma Judy and Papa's pool! This past Tuesday had a chance of rainy weather, but once again the weather people were wrong! It was a beautiful day for a swim.
Looks like Lauren and Liz are having a fun time while Mr. Ryan is enjoying a nice quite swim!

Is it just me or did Joshua grow up over night? Doesn't he look like such a big/older boy? Joshua was super nice to share his cool crab with our newest swim day member little Makayla and her mommy, Missy. This was Makayla's first successful swim! Way to go Makayla!!! We hope they join us again next week!

A Little Brothers and Sister Bonding

Actually, this is not about me and my little sister playing together, it is actually Mommy and her two younger brothers spending some quality sibling time. Last night the three of them headed to Home Depot on a search for a BBQ Grill for Christopher and Ginny's wedding gift (yes, we know their wedding was over a week ago, better late then never, right?!) After they found the perfect grill, they had a nice dinner and a local restaurant. Mommy and our Uncles were trying to think when was the last time just the three of them did anything like dinner together, they still have not figured out when! They all agreed that they would like to do just the "sibling" thing more often. Anyways, tonight Uncle Jim picked us up and took us over to Uncle Peter's house so they could build the grill. They worked very hard and well together, minus Mommy messing up reading the directions a couple times! The end result looks great! I think Ginny and Christopher will like their gift from all of us.
Meanwhile, they were hard at working, Aunt Jeannine and Aunt Jill kept Amelia and I entertained and out of trouble.

We had so much fun! Mommy packed a few toys for us to bring along and one of them was the awesome play dough set that was given to me from the Z Family for my birthday. Aunt Jeannine was so cool, she let us mix all of the colors (except pink and orange, Amelia was holding on to those with a death grip) together! Our Mommy is not as fun, she gets a little nutty when she sees play dough mixing with other colors, really she needs to chill a bit and have a little fun!
(There's little sneak peek of a new family member!)

A Mini- Zoo in a Every Town!

Yes, it is our very own local Pet Smart!

Really, we did have a purpose to stopping at the store, Grandma Judy's parakeets needs some more food. But, why run in and quickly grab a bag of feed when there is some many fun living creatures to check out!

In these two aquariums had some fascinating little pets. The one James is looking in has hermit crabs with the coolest shells, one was red and had Elmo on it! The aquarium that Amelia was looking in had very cool green and red frogs, tiny crabs and a few small fish. Of course we spent some time examining all of the fresh water fish.
Now, onto finding bird food, but wait! There's more!!! We saw little bitty birds called finches, a bunch that looked just like Grandma Judy's birds and the coolest tropical bird that was very expensive!

Then, we continued our tour of small animals to see a "fancy" mouse sleeping peacefully in it's little igloo home. We were disappointed to read that all of the hamsters, rabbits and gerbils have not arrived to the store yet. Maybe, we will just have to come back and pay a visit. Our last stop was to take a peek at all of the kitty cats. We saw the cutest set of twin kittens. I had a very, very, very brief moment of "oh, we need to have another furry pet in the house", but then I quickly snapped back into reality! Nah, the kids can pet and love Nana's dogs and Forrest if they need some furry friends to give a hug to.
This will be an added activity for our long winter months ahead!
