Daddy's Home!

Last night we were excited to have Daddy home from school, so we hung out in our new basement before he had to "hit" the books again!
Keep up the good work Daddy!
We are very proud of you!!!

Who Stole the Cookie...

From the Cookie Box???

AMELIA!

That's who!!!

Mommy was folding some laundry, so I took the opportunity to sneak a few licks of the fresh cookies that Papa brought us today. Nevertheless, I was busted in no time!

As you can see, I did however get to taste some delicious frosting!

Thanks Papa for visiting us this afternoon, bringing us the shamrock cookies and waking me up extra early from my afternoon nap! Mommy says she thanks you too!!! (I was a bit of a handful this afternoon!)

I Hear "Under"!

When there is "under" (thunder), there is a very scared doggie!
Tyler is the biggest scaredy cat when it comes to loud noises. We need to comfort him and let him know that he will be OK when there is a storm happening outside. So we do our best to make sure he is assured of his safety and that we are there to hold his paw when he needs it!
OK, so we may not be the most gentle when we try to comfort, but we try!

Last Weekend Update

Our Mommy apologizes for the lack of updated posts and pictures, it is not from a lack of events occurring around the Hammy House, the problem is from our techno-challenged Mommy. She was going to post about the big surprise 60th birthday party that we had for our Papa Bob last Saturday or maybe it was a post about our awesome day we spent with Auntie Rita and Uncle JP, to make a long story short, Mommy somehow corrupted her disk that held all of our most recent photos! Mommy is very upset at herself for being rather careless (actually impatient is the truth) with downloading a few pictures! So, she will have to wait until Uncle Luke emails a few photos of the birthday party and Auntie Rita comes back from her vacation down in Mexico to post about our recent fun events.
Thanks for your patience!
Stay tuned...

Time Out?

This is our new Naughty Spot. I was misbehaving by smacking Amelia on the head so Mommy sent me to the "Naughty Spot" to have a time out, but lately Amelia seems to enjoy sitting on the Naughty Spot along side of me!

This drives our Mommy a bit nutty!!!

R.I.P Mr. Thomas Percy

Today, we are sad to announce the passing of our dear pet "sucker" fish named Thomas Percy. He was found at the bottom of his fish tank earlier this morning due to a possible overdose of Algae. The toxicology reports will take up to 3 weeks to come back to confirmed what lead up to the final moments of young (2wk) of Mr. Thomas Percy.
There was a very, brief viewing of the dearly departed at the Hamilton Toilet Funeral Terminal, a few words were shared such as "Poor guy" from Mommy and "Bye!" shared by James. Shortly after the final flush, James asked "Where did he go?"
About, 15 seconds later James was excited to head to the pet store to pick out a new friend for "Dorothy".

A Tisket, A Tasket...

many hearts in my basket!

More fun with felt! This time we sang the song "A Tisket, A Tasket a (purple) heart in my basket." James enjoyed this new felt set since the season of hearts filled the air. I like just stacking all the hearts into one BIG pile and then shaking them off the board onto the floor!

Spring Fever!!!

It is gorgeous outside today!!!
So, we headed out for a bike ride and walk around the block.

Even though the sidewalk and driveway were still pretty damp from the melting snow, we decided to dumped out our chalk and made masterpieces everywhere!

While we were playing outside we got a little dirty, so...
into the bathtub we go!

Then, it was time for lunch!

OK, Mommy said she just had to put another picture of me in my new pigtails!!!

Here Kitty, Kitty?

Are those cat ears on your head, Nana? Nana and James played together while we went to class this morning.
Today, was Amelia's second Kindermusik class. She had a great time singing and dancing to the music. One of her favorite things to do at class is to look out the large windows and see what is going on outside. Another, awesome part about the class is that our friend Joshua is taking it too! They are both enjoying the songs, finger plays and of course playing with all of the different instruments.
Last week we learned two signs for "love" and "you". Today, we practiced the signs for "up, down, and book". Maybe, next time we will have a picture to share with everyone!
Thanks again Nana for lunch and spending the afternoon with us!

Fun with Felt!

Mommy has been cutting up felt like it is going out style.!She made me this set that has a bed and 10 bears. We sang a song called Ten in the Bed and Mommy would say which colored bear fell off and I had to find it and put it on the side. Also, we sang another song called Can You Find (Blue) Bear that sounds like the song The Muffin Man. It was a lot of fun playing with this felt board set!

Are YOU Ready For Some FOOTBALL?!

Um, Amelia and Papa? The game is on?

I guess they were really into the ABC Animal Train toy!

Alright, get those 3-D glasses on! It is time for some halftime entertainment!

Wow! Everyone looks blue and red!

After the 3-D show, we hit the TiV0 pause button to sing Happy Birthday to the four January birthday babies (Mommy, Grandma Judy, Christopher and Ginny).

"Happy Birthday Dear ChistopherGinnyGrandmaMomCarlaMommy!"

OK, back to the Half-Time Show and then the Game!

"Do you guys really have to yell so loud??? It's just a silly game!"

We hope everyone had a great time watching the Super Bowl Game!
