Happy Birthday and we hope you have many more!!!

Five Years!!! And Lovin' Every Minute of It!

Five years ago on Saturday, June 28th, Mark and I tied the knot. We have had a blast spending our first five years together as a married couple and we will continue to grow, love and Cherish one another from until one of us croaks (just kidding, I didn't want to get too gushy) or the end of time.

Thanks Mark for making the past 5 years wonderful, fun and like I said in the card "Productive" (x2). I try to imagine what years from now will be like, James will be 7 1/2, Amelia will be almost turning 6 and Tyler will still be eating everything, just a little bit slower (maybe not). Who knows there might be another little Hamilton running around the house as well. I look forward to continuing the crazy journey that life will bring us together. I love you more then ever! Thanks for being the best hubby ever!
PS The Banana Pancakes is for you!

Here's couple pics of Stevie playing at Grant Park on Saturday. It was a great time. The crowd was big, but a lot of fun and friendly people just singing and dancing along to some fantastic music! Highly recommend seeing him if you ever get the chance!

5th Anniversary to be continued..

Yesterday was our Mommy and Daddy's 5th wedding Anniversary. They had a wonderful time celebrating it together. First, they dropped Amelia and I off at our Nana and Papa Bob's house (we had a blast, we'll talk more about that later). Then, they went down into the city to spend the evening alone and together. Mommy and Daddy took the train down and walked over to the Taste of Chicago, but resisted all temptations of the yummy food and headed straight to Grant Park to see Stevie Wonder. After the show, they hopped in a cab and headed over to the restaurant where they had their first date and the place where they went to diner after Daddy proposed, Maggiano's. With full bellies, our parents took the train home and had a very nice and quite (almost too quite) evening watching their wedding video, looking at their wedding album, drinking champagne out of their toasting flutes and enjoy chocolate fondue for desert.
Mommy will post some pictures from the concert soon. Until then, enjoy the pictures from the farm!

Uncle Chirs' Birthday at the Farm

Ok, these pictures are from the begining of May, but better late then never! We were out at the farm celebrating our Uncle Chris' birthday. The farm is a wonderful place out in the country where it is very peaceful and slower paced.

This is the farm that our Papa's parents use to take him to when he was just a little kid. Papa and his brother (Uncle Chris) have many, many fond memories of all of the animals that Milton (previous owner) had as well as all of the things they use to do out on the farm.
The big barn behind us in the picture is where Milton kept his cows and horses as well as hay and tractors.

The smaller barn to the right in the background was and is the pig barn. Uncle Chris has many piggies out there in the barn. He also has some cows in the big barn too.

The littlest barn/house was the old "milk house". This is where they would store all of the fresh milk to be picked up by the trucks. Now, it is the chicken coup.

Happy Birthday Uncle Chris!
We hope you had a great day!

This was one of the gifts the Uncle Peter and Auntie Jeannie gave him.

Umm... Mommy this is the biggest bottle I have ever seen!!! Hey, wait! Let me try it, just hold it still, please!
Just kidding, it is actually for the baby cows. Silly Mommy!

James and Papa were having fun with the gigantic bottle too!

Sleepover at Grandma Judy and Papa's

We always have a blast when we stay the night with Papa and Grandma Judy. These are just a few things that we do when we get to spend the night at our Grandparent's house.

We get to read really cool books.

We get to play with lots of toys, some of them are toys that were our Mommy's when she was a little girl!

Grandma likes to do lots of things with us. She enjoys playing on the floor, reading, coloring, taking nature walks,
and making sure we are well fed.

Papa loves to do whatever it is we want to do. James loves when Grandpa takes him on tractor rides. Papa also loves to play, crawl, tickle and make silly noises with us every time we get together!

Mommy had to throw this picture in at the end to show how much she misses us when she is a way, and we certainly miss Daddy and Mommy too. Yet, spending some quality time with our Grandparents is great for us too!

BUSTED!!!

It was nap time, I heard a soft thud from James' room. I thought "that the noise couldn't be from James, he is sleeping". WELL...

This is what I found.

It may seem sweet and innocent, but James dumped 4 very full bins of books all over his bed!!!

"Look Mommy, I read book!" James said proudly.

"Look Buddy, it is time to take a nap (after we clean up the pile of books, of course!)" Mommy said as she scratched her head in disbelief.

There's never a dull moment at the Hamilton House!!!

Red Wagon Ride

Just enjoying a wagon ride on a nice, sunny day!

James was being such a nice big brother by allowing me to play trains with him. Actually, I could only watch not touch! That was ok with me, I was just happy watching the train go around and around. CHOO CHOO!!!

Happy Daddy's Day!

Thanks for being the best Daddy ever!!!
We Love you!!!

Holding Daddy's Hand

Walking down the winding path

I hold tight to Daddy's hand

His firm but gentle grip makes me

Feel safe like nothing else can

I don't know where we are going

But my Daddy knows the way

He leads us down the path that's right

And will not let us stray

I hold on to his hand tightly

I know he won't let me fall

For my Daddy is the biggest and the strongest of them all

I don't ever have to worry

When I hold his hand in mine

Because I know he will protect

And love me for all time

Lookin' Fine at 9 (months that is)

Our Little Sweet Pea is 9 months old today!!!

Amelia can do many new things since her last check up at 6 months. Here's what's new!

She gained 2 lbs 2 oz (16 lbs 9 oz 15%)

She is 2 inches longer (27 1/4" 40%)

Her head grew 2 centimeters (10 %)

She has two bottom teeth now

She recongnizes her own name

Sits with no support

Goes from sitting to "army crawling" back to sitting

Pulls herself up to a stand (on the couch)

Amelia likes to wave.

Her first word/sounds is "dat" & "da-da"

These are just a few things that is new in her life. Amelia is such a happy little peanut. She and James are starting to play together, it is really neat to watch them interact each day!

MMM... Baby Crack!

Mommy gave me the best little things to try today! She calls it "Baby Crack", but I think they are actually cereal puffs. First, I had to pick up the little buggers (not as easy as you may think!)
LOOK MOMMY! I GOT ONE!!!

Now, into the mouth it goes... Not too bad.
Can I have more, please?
Mommy is right, you just can't stop after having one!!!

Hacca Bothday Daddy!!!

HAPPY 33rd BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!
In honor of Daddy's hard work remodeling our basement, Mommy made him a special Tape Measure birthday cake.
There's nothing like having a Birthday BBQ celebration and hanging out with your loved ones.

UMM, Uncle Luke we hope you were done eating!

That's our dog tyler (the "or-gen-ga" one) and our cousin Willis (so he has four legs and a tail, he still counts!)

I wonder what is in all of those presents?

Who knew that a water hose and a dog dish could be so fun! Come here Tyler...

We hope you had a wonderful Birthday Daddy!
We love you so much!!!

Fireworks in May???

Last night in May...
playing with fireworks!
" I wonder what it is going to do?"

"Wow, it is so cool! Daddy said that it is very hot and dangerous. I can look, but not touch!"

OK, it may look like James is in pain, but he really wasn't. He kept making that silent, frightened facial expression, yet he wanted Daddy to turn another one on.

Forth of July hear we come!
