The Lake

Papa was telling me that soon he will take me out on his boat from this habor.

Grandma Judy was helping me feed the cute duckies Cheerios! I had so much fun feeding them that I didn't want to leave the duckies behind!

The weather was not cooperating with us again, therefore we couldn't stay outside too long before catching a cold from the chilly, misty air. I just know that soon it will be warm outside...we hope!!!

A Week in Review

This was at Hailey's 3rd Birthday party. The party was at a movie theater. We had popcorn, juice and other yummy snacks and watched Shrek 3. We had so much fun running all around the theater, we could do this because we had the whole theater to ourselves. Happy Birthday Hailey!
This is our Great Grandma Miller and our Auntie Annie at an Easter Eve dinner. Amelia was trying hard to feel relaxed in others arms other than our Mommy's but, it didn't last long. Mommy said that this is just a phase and she will get more comfortable around others soon..

Here, Nana was helping me make a cool picture using a spring stamp set and puffy stickers! This one here was for my Daddy to bring to work.

Some of the other highlights were seeing and having lunch with our cousins Shelly and Elizabeth. They took the train up to visit during their spring break. Also, Grandma Judy was on Spring break last week and she and Papa brought over lunch for us and played for awhile.

Over the weekend James pedaled his new tricycle for the first time on Saturday. Mommy intended to take pictures of the big event but forgot to grab the camera! Don't worry the next sunny day we go out for a stroll I am sure that camera will be out and taking plenty of pictures. During our walk we saw our neighbors Scott and Brooke so we stopped to say hi. Then we ended up staying for diner and Brooke and I played and ran the whole time. Thanks for letting us play with all of your fun toys, Brooke! Sunday Papa and Grandma Judy picked us up for a ride in Papa's cool new truck. We took a ride to the Lake and then had a pancake lunch! Mommy got only a few pics b/c the camera battery died. Then Daddy came home from work and we decided to take a ride out to see Christopher's new house and farm. I had fun running all over the place and seeing his two cows! MOOOOO! I can't wait to see them again when the weather is better!

Happy Easter!

Daddy, Mommy look what the Easter Bunny left me in my basket!!!

I wuv my new summer hat!
This is my Papa!
The Easter Bunny Stopped at my Grandparents house too!

This is our Grandma Judy!
She was showing how all of my new markers, crayons, and stampers can fit in this cool Cars tin pail, thanks Grandma!!
Amelia, watch me and I will show you how to make it spin round and round!

We had a wonderful Easter, especially since it was Amelia's first Easter holiday! We started the morning with an egg hunt around our house, then we headed over to Papa and Grandma Judy's house for Easter Dinner. We had a special home grown ham that was from our Uncle Chris' farm and boy was it good!!! Grandma Judy made all sorts of yummy food and deserts. Before we sat down for dinner we got to open all our cool things that the Easter Bunny left at my grandparents house as well as Easter gifts from Uncle Peter and Auntie Jeannie and Uncle Chris and Christopher. Unfortunately, my Daddy started to not feel well as we had to cut our visit a little short and made a very quick visit to our Nana and Papa's house so they could see us on Easter too and show us what the Easter Bunny left at their house for us too. Thank goodness that our grandparents live right next door to each other!!! Amelia and I wanted to say thanks to all our family for making our Easter holiday a wonderful day, we love you all very, very much!!!

Coloring Eggs

James colored his first Easter eggs last night and boy did he have fun!
After James rolled the eggs around in the glasses that held the dye in, his added some extra detail with some Cars stickers.
As you can see here, James loved dying the eggs!

Here are the beautiful, finished Easter Eggs!
Now we are ready for the Easter Bunny!

First Day of Spring?!

If you can't beat it, join it, right?!
We decided that even though more snow was dumped on our first day of spring, we should make the most of it and play outside anyways! Daddy and I made snowballs, went sledding and made our very own trail around the front yard. Mommy made an attempt to make a bunny out of snow (I told her it looked great even though Daddy said it looked like a lamb).

It's a snowman, no
It's a snowlamb, no
It's a snowbunny, yeah!!!

Yeah Chucky Cheese!!!

Today was a busy day. First, we had Heather and Baby Joshua over for an afternoon of fun! Then after my nap my mommy got me ready for a visit to Chucky Cheeses to spend an evening of fun with my Uncle Peter and Aunt Jeannine (Jeanie). My Uncle Peter told me how he used to love going to a place just like this called Showbiz Pizza when he was a little boy.
This was a very cool water squirt game. I earned 4 tickets all by myself!!!
MMM...Pizza and a show!!! What more could a 2 year old ask for?

Hurry take the picture, Chucky is singing to me!!!

Playdate with Lauren and Ryan!

This is our newest friend, Ryan. He is so cute and cuddly! Amelia had fun watching his little hands move around. I know when he gets a little bigger Amelia and Ryan will become great friends like Lauren and I are. Welcome to the world Baby Ryan!!!

Lauren taught me a new cool game. We took all of the colorful balls from her ball pit and put them in this gigantic box. Then Liz (Lauren's Mommy) tipped the big box and dumped all of the balls on Lauren and I! It was like it was raining a rainbow of balls! That was a lot of fun!

Make room for me Lauren!
We had a great afternoon playing, running and dancing together. Thanks for a great playdate as usual Liz, Lauren, Nana, and baby Ryan!! See you soon!!!

Horseys, sheep and a goat, Oh my!!!

This weekend we were very busy. First Amelia and I had a sleepover at my Grandma Judy and Papa's house on Friday night. I had so much fun there that when my parents took me home I fell right asleep and slept right through Gymboree Class! Then, on Saturday I went to the Easter Egg Hunt. As you saw on our blog I had a great time finding a bunch of eggs. Sunday my family and I had dinner with my Nana and Papa Bob. We had a great time hanging out and playing in the barn!
This is Dreamer, she is really sweet and pretty!

Look Mommy! I am riding a pony!

This is my Nana's new miniature horse. Her name is April. She is very friendly and walks nice and slow.

Don't worry Mommy, Daddy is holding on to me really tight!

This big sheep is named Jingle Bells. I was giving him and the goat some animal cookies. They really liked them. I was a little scared feeding the cookies to them because they are so big and I am so small so Nana had to help me. Thanks Nana for letting me play with all of the animals!

This is R2-D2 the goat. My Uncle Luke gave him that name because he loves the movie Star Wars. At first R2-D2 was not to fond of me, but when I had a cookie in my hand he and I became good friends!

Kiss us, wee Irish!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
Yes, we are a wee bit Irish!

James is getting into the spirit!

Kisses for all of our Irish family and friends!!!

What's in the Egg?

"Wow! Daddy, there is something different in every egg!"

"This is my Easter basket. It is pink and has pretty beads all around it! James, found some eggs for me at the Easter Egg Hunt. Thanks James!!!"

The Egg Hunt!

Wow, there are so many eggs!
Hey, James there's more over there!
"Here's one for Amelia's basket, Daddy."

Unfortunately, Amelia was all bundled up for her first egg hunt and couldn't see a thing! It was just a little too cold for our little baby girl to watch and participate in the egg hunt. Don't worry Sweet Pea, next year you'll be toddling around with your pink basket snatching up your very own Easter Eggs!

"MOMMY!"

"I don't want to take a picture now, there are more eggs to be found!!!"

Even though the weather was a little chilly, our neighborhood egg hunt was better than ever! We are ready for the Easter Bunny!!!

My Boyfriend's Back...

Yesterday, Josh and his Mommy came over for a visit.

We played together, James and our mommies had lunch and then we ventured outdoors for a nice spring walk. James scooted on his little scooter the whole way around the block all by himself!! Mommy was very proud of him. This was Josh's second time outside in his stroller. He told me that he really liked it outside and he wanted to know what was making all of those chirping sounds? James told me that they were called birdies. Josh, soon we will be able to go on a walk to the park and our mommies can push us on the swings! James and I can't wait!!!

Ouch! My 6 Month Check up

Well, I survived...barely!

So here's the scoop:
Weight- 14lbs 9oz (James' weight at 2 months!)
Length-25 1/2 inches (I grew 1/2 inch)
Head Circumference- 40.5cm ( I have a itty-bitty head)
My doctor said I am very happy and healthy little girl. Mommy was a little worried with my petite size though. She can't help compare my size to my big brother size, but my doctor told her that I am growing perfectly and that I am just a little peanut (I must take after my Grandma Judy!)
Now, for the torturing part:
I got my ears, eye and throat looked at with a bright light thingy, interesting gadget but not very fun. Next, my doctor made sure that my legs worked fine by moving them back and forth, up and down and he made sure my head was smooth and round. Then, my doctor used this a cold, metal doodad that was attached to a black necklace to check how well I reacted to ice cold metal things that are placed on my tummy (mommy said he used that to hear what was going on in my tummy and chest, but I thought that was what your ears are for). Finally, I had to show him how well I can roll over and try to sit on my own. Then all of a sudden it hit me. "Now, I remember this guy! He's the one that pokes me in my legs and makes them hurt a lot." And then it happen, "whaaa!!!" I got 4, count them 4 shots and I had to drink some not too bad tasting stuff too. My doctor is a nice guy and all but, really do we have to end each visit with tears and boo-boos?!

Now, it's time for a nap!

Just One More...

Hey Amelia, try this cool toy!

I think there is room for just one more...

Um,Mommy? I could use a little help here!

Whoa!! I think this froggy is ribbitting a song I know! Listen Mommy!!!

Today, Mommy and I got to see our newest friend Baby Ryan. He is a week and one day old. Welcome to the world Baby Ryan! So far it seems to be a cool place out here, it's not as scary as I thought it was going to be. I can't wait to play with you soon! -Amelia
