We had a wonderful weekend with some wonderful visitors! First, Mommy played (attempted) volleyball Friday night with Uncle Peter. After, the games were finished, Uncle Peter, Auntie Jeannie, Aaron and Jenn came back to our house and hung out. Unfortunately, by the time they got home it was well passed our bedtime, therefore we missed seeing everyone. Maybe, next week the volleyball games will be earlier so we can go too!
Saturday, Uncle Luke and Olivia came over for dinner. It was so great to see them. They just got back from Olivia's family trip up in Wisconsin. They had fun stories about all of the cool things they did and saw at the lake they stayed at. We hope we can visit a neat place like that someday. In this picture we were all getting a little tired, so we got cozy on the couch!
Speaking of getting cozy... AUNTIE RITA WAS!!!
Silly Auntie Rita, or should we say smart Auntie Rita! James was sharing one of his new favorite books that we share at bedtime My Friend Rabbit, while she snuggled in his bed. James read (retold) the fun story very well.
We had a lot of fun playing around the house with our Aunt. Even, I (Amelia) let her hold me for quite some time. She is always a lot of fun to be with. Auntie Rita can make the silliest faces and make the craziest sounds with some pretty wild movements accompanying them, just ask her to do her impression of a monkey!
Auntie Rita thanks for visiting us today!!! PS We missed Uncle JP, but our Mommy said that it important that he study hard so he can finish his classes with super-duper grades! Also, Mommy and Daddy promised us that we will come visit you both (Willis too) soon!!!

Oh, James and Amelia, it sounds like you had a great time with a lot of family this weekend! Aunts and Uncles are great. It also helps when they know how to be silly and crazy.
And, James, you look like such a big boy retelling the story to Auntie Rita. Some day soon you'll be reading all those wonderful stories to Amelia . . because you'll be a reader!
Josh's Grandma
Mom and I decided the next time we come over we need to get all comfy and have James read us a bedtime story.
Sounds like a good weekend. Only five days until the next one!
Love,
Josh and Mom
