Happy 108th Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. SEUSS!!!
We certainly love our collection of silly Dr. Seuss' books. In honor of his birthday, we read many silly stories, played the Cat in the Hat, I Can Do That and ended with a special dinner.
Amelia had to place the fish bowl on top of her head, step over the Trick-a-ma-stick! She did it!
Um, Daddy??? LOL He had to take 3 large steps with the toyman between his legs! Such a good sport!
Crawling around the Trick-a-ma-stick with something under her shirt, maybe??

James had some hard challenges that he was able to do with no problem!
Back to reading, Go Cassidy Go!
Now on to dinner...
Green Eggs and Ham of course!
The did eat their green eggs and ham, SAM I AM!

To end the birthday celebration, James read his favorite Dr. Seuss book, Hop on Pop. He can read the entire book with very little support! James is doing a wonderful job using different reading strategies that we have been working on in addition to his reading instruction in the classroom. So proud of you James!!!
