Cousin's Day at GA!

Today, we met up with some of our cousins at one of our favorite places, Great America!

During Fright Fest, they really change the look of the place with all sorts of spooky things. This was a haunted house/trail that took over one of the kiddie areas that we like to play in during the summer. (This is were the Ladybug ride is located.)


Shelly was making us laugh so hard, by tickling us! We thought we were safe since we were so layered with coats and clothes, but we weren't!

After, a pizza lunch, we stayed for just a little while longer and then it was time to head home for our naps.

It was fun seeing everyone, even though it was only for a short time.

Special Delivery!

James received postcards from two different destinations this afternoon!


Our cousin Nicolette, sent us post cards from Canada. On them were pictures of some scenery, Niagara Falls and one from the town she stayed in Hamilton, Canada! Cool, huh?!

The other postcards were from Uncle Jim and Aunt Jill that were sent during their honeymoon in Disney World! One of the Disney postcards had a picture that moved when you rotated it back and forth, very neat-O!
James was super excited to have received his very own mail!!!
We quickly added all of the new postcard additions to our "Postcard" book.
It is fun to flip through all of postcards in our collection.

Coco Key Water Park

Our dear friends Kristy and Andrew, took us as their guests to one of their cool hangouts...

We had a great time splashing in the water and watching Andrew zoom down the slides (we were a bit hesitant, maybe next time!)


We had a blast playing together!

Dark Skies

Heading back home from spending the day in Rockford with Kristy and Andrew.

Working on the Farm

Papa and Grandma Judy went up north for a weekend get away, and we got to babysit the animals! We take this job very seriously...
OK, not that seriously! We have a lot of fun hanging out with the cows, chickens and the only peacock!

Every year, James is earning more responsibilities when it is our turn to watch and care for the animals. Now, James helps with giving the cows hay and grain, collects the eggs and dumps the seed in the peacock's food dish.
