Meet (Mrs) Robinhood!

Every Spring for the last 3-4yrs now, this Momma Robin comes back to this nest and calls it her home. We noticed she returned several weeks ago and we have been patiently awaiting the tiny beaks to start popping up from the nest!
We are excited to announce that we are the proud Aunts and Uncles (not sure what to call us) to 4 baby robins! At first, we only saw three little heads bobbing around as the Momma bird was feeding them, but to our surprise we counted 4 baby birdies today!

Veggie Garden Update

We have everything sprouting except the following veggies: Squash, peppers and Organo.

Everything else is looking pretty good!

A Mother's Day Suprise!

A Day at the Circus!!!

This kids and Daddy suprised me with tickets to the Piccadilly Circus at the Sears Center.

We saw crazy motorcyclists racing around caged ball.

Check out this motorcycle riding way up high on a highwire!

This was by far our favorite clown with his sloppy jloppy old car.

This man walked on the high wire without a net!

This was one of my favorite acts. These ladies were amazing!

The elephant show was hands down AWESOME!

So cute! The elephant actually crawled underneath the other elephant!

Now, we have seen three circus'; a small, medium and large circus!

Thanks for a great time kiddos and Daddy!

Now, it's time for some dinner....Red Lobster!!! So good!

The Littlest Hammy

Today was a very special day, today was the day to see our baby brother or baby sister! We were both very excited to see the baby. Amelia wanted to know if we will be able to hear the baby talk, Mommy said no but we will hear it's heartbeat again. During the ultrasound, Amelia also asked "where are the baby's clothes? What are they wearing in there?" So cute!

The Littlest Hammy is measuring perfectly, we are at 21 weeks. We saw the heart beating, feet kick and arms wave. The coolest moment by far was watching the baby yawn! That was really incredible! The kiddos saw it too and actually understood what they were watching!

The baby is in a breached position which explains why I have to constantly pee, the baby is dancing and kicking my bladder! Yikes! A breached position is no concern for us since we are having a scheduled C-section. The ultrasound tech said that the baby was being a bit of a handful since he/she was all curled up, making some measurements difficult. We will be having another ultrasound at our next monthly visit to get a better image of the lower spine, since the baby's position was making hard to do so. So, more pre-birth pics to come! Yippee!!

Millie Snuggles

Mommy dropped off dinner as an excuse to get some NB baby snuggles from Miss Millie! She is so cute! We can't wait to finally meet her in person soon!

"LET ME OUT!!!"

All I can say is thank God Heather was over to witness that I did not lock my child in a rabbit cage, just her brother did! Seriously, I will be going to parent Hell for not instantly rescuing her nor demanding James to unlock the latch, no, NO...I said just the opposite. James hang on, Mommy needs to grab the camera! Of course this was quite upsetting to Amelia...

"Mommy, no picture!!!"
So, do you think she learned her lesson?
Other than that, oh besides James running out in the front yard when he knows better, our play date with the Butner Bunch was a good time as always! Now, if you ask Joshers...he may say differently! "Those Hammies are nuts!!!"

Happy 5th Birthday, Owen!

Owen's party was held at the Field Museum! This was our first time as a family to visit there!

Sue!

Sue, again!

The museum got in the spirit of our Chicago teams that made it into the playoffs. All though the Hawks lost in the first round, the Bulls are still kicking butt!

We went to a special exhibit for kids called The Underground Adventure. We "shrunked" down to a inch tall and explored the underground. Here we are sitting in Ciada shells!

Here is one of James' buddies from preschool, Kyle!

The Music Room in the Family Lab area where the birthday party was held.

Kyle and James were pretending to harvest the corn.

Time for a yummy lunch!

After we ate our yummy sandwiches it was time for a special tour with the real dinos!

James is standing in a Apatosaurus' (aka Brontosaurus) foot print! It was HUGE!!!

These Dinos were massive!

This was a dino leg bone!

After the cool tour, it was time for cupcakes and singing Happy Birthday to our buddy/cousin Owen!

Group Pic!

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY, OWEN!!!

This was a special pictrue for Uncle Peter...

RINO HORN!!!

On our walk back to our car, we stopped to check this thing out at the Children's Garden.

One pooped little girl!

Thumb in the mouth, finger in the bellybutton...just the way she likes it!
