Kids Make Lunch!
Nana brought over some interesting ingredients for us to make a delicious lunch together.
First, we took a piece of crescent roll dough and wrapped a hotdog inside of it.
Then, we placed them all on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven to bake. They sure smelled yummy as they were baking. Then Nana brought some fruit and cut them into small pieces. James and I placed the cut up apples, grapes and raisins in a bowl and we took turns mixing it all together. That was such a fun and tasty lunch that we kiddos could help prepare!

"The Snake"
Auntie Annie got me this super cool snake that when you put it in the water it grows really, really, REALLY big! (or at least it says so on the package)
Well, the snake is in the water, but nothing is happening.
It turns out that it will take days for the snake to grow. So, we will check on it many times throughout the day!

Happy Birthday My Handsome Little Man!
To start off the big birthday day, James began receiving many birthday phone calls. (This was Papa singing to him)
Mommy thought it would be nice to ask James what he wanted for his birthday lunch and of course he said "Old McDonald's!" So, we went to a different McDs and this one had a play area attached to it...so I decided I would happily combat all of the icky germs by being armed with handi-wipes! The kids had a good time, Amelia was really too small and intimated to climb in the jungle-gym area, so she played with the limited little kids activities (totally gross!)
Amelia enjoying a chicken nugget.
For James' birthday dinner, he chose "Hotdog in a bun", Cheese Puffs, and milk. Nice and nutritious!
